« A week away »
Monday, March 1, 2010 at 4:59PM This past week I took a trip to Edmonton to share some time with a sweet lady and her family, hoping her wee one would be on its way Earth side while I was in town. I wasn't greeted with the joys of new life, but was filled with new experiences and happiness during my week.
Snow! I was so happy to see white and experience a chill, albeit, not a very big chill.
I spent the better part of our morning giggling at Julie's tee-shirt. Just too cute.
This one isn't crisp, but I just loved their nature table and how it changed over the week. Small things were added and removed by the children, music was flipped, people greeted, and at the end of my trip, bubs first outfit made its way to settle here for a little while.
This sweet little family is all awaiting your arrival little one, make your way when you are ready. It is a sweet life, I've experienced just a bit, and I can assure you.
The sunlight that came through the windows around five was just beautiful, the way it bounced and changed the entire room. I loved soaking in Winter sun.
He adores being in the kitchen and helping, here making some tea. So sweet.
A sample of our works in progress. I wonder how many stitches were stitched during our week together.
Treats at the farmers market.
Late in the day light of a growing belly.
The moon was almost full. Julie's womb equal in phase.
I'd never been outdoor skating before, and this was such a treat for me. I was in love with the sun bouncing off the ice, the adventure, the smell of wood smoke, the warm warm day. And now the bruise that reminds me of the joy of my first real ice skating trip.
Snow sculpture, a mama and her wee one.
Silhouette, a mama and her wee one.
Thank you so much Julie for such a lovely time, you were much too generous and such a sweet host. I couldn't have asked for a better time, although perhaps a baby would have been a nice flare ;) I'm very glad we got to spend the time together, and wish you the best comings weeks and a peaceful birthing day.
