« Sharing words »

Today I was filled with inspiration, to sing, to listen, to dance, to write. It was just this constant stream of being present, happy and open. I shared a lovely day with the children (that I mind) and jotted some of my thoughts into my twitter stream. I've decided to list my haiku's I wrote today here. Now published in the Spring 2010 issue of The Birth Project magazine, as they kindly wanted me to share some of them. What a beautiful opportunity to have my words and feelings read, I'm really looking forward to it.

The sky is orange :: The branches are all lit up :: Living and being.

There is a chuckle :: Hidden just under my breath :: Making this life ours.

I stop with wonder :: From a maiden to mother :: What a beautiful huge change.

As I wait to change :: I focus on me and him :: This is our time now.

Soon it will be new :: Together in a new way :: Three of us to bond

I see it peaceful :: Raw strong surrenderring strength :: Our birth together

I love these :) I've been writing some birth-related and period related haiku's actually. My friend just published a haiku book and she inspired me to try. Now, you've inspired me even more. Yours are beautiful.
I love this line "I stop with wonder/From a maiden to mother..."
