« Good Night Sunshine, Hello Moon »

The temperature was above freezing, but the wind was sharp against our skin. Mittenless, we ventured out to watch our sweet dog play on the frozen land. Crunching under our feet, watching the skies change to the most brilliant shades of orange, yellow, dusty red, pink, violet and indigo - balanced with amazing blues and the most light absorbing clouds I've seen in years. Our faces pink and orange from the setting sun, we walked on. Meeting the moon, a slowly growing sliver, hanging so gently in the darker hues of blue, as if strung down from the universe of a silver string with a twinkling planet as her friend and companion to welcoming the night.

We return home filled with inspiration and feeling blessed by the beauty that surrounds us everyday. Closing your eyes and absorbing all that is nature, simply is the purest form of rejuvenation of the soul.

Casting off a dream on a cloud, sending it off into the wind. Thanking our moon, for our tides, our pulls, our rotations. Being grateful for what is here, trying to speak to us. We just need to listen. Or, feel. We need to feel.
