Baby Jasper

Amber serendipitously showed up on my doorstep when I was 41 weeks into my second pregnancy. I’d had a traumatic experience birthing my first child in hospital, and with Amber’s help we brought our second son into the world peacefully and beautifully, at home. It was a life-changing experience; our whole house was filled with laughter and love throughout the labour. Amber played an integral role in the birth.  She exudes peace and calmness; she implicitly trusts birth and the birthing woman’s body to do what nature intended. I felt comforted, safe, secure and super-humanly strong. What I will always remember about Amber  is her serene demeanor and her healing hands. She often, quietly, found places to soothe through massage and touch. And she managed to sneak in many wonderful photographs as well. I couldn’t imagine her not being a part of that transformational experience.
